The participants, outside of the company and outdoors, are confronted with problem solving exercises with the use of neutral objects (planks, ropes, bars, buckets, balls, crates …). All participants are on an equal footing. The use of exercises acts as a powerful way to reveal behaviours.
The exercises create a “mirror” effect of what happens daily in the company. Video is a powerful tool for the group and individuals to understand and see their behaviours.
The simulation exercise offers the possibility of reflecting on mistakes made, understanding and avoiding them later, while a similar situation in business does not leave time for reflection or experimentation by error.
Video and collective coaching are essential to draw all the lessons from the observed situation.
The debriefing by a certified coach is essential to understand what went well, what didn’t go so well, to understand how the participants saw things, and the expert coach then gives his view.
